About

      I started my Beekeeping journey in  2021  by attending a basic course with The Peterborough and District Bee Keeping Association . 

    Armed with my new knowledge I built two Hives from flat pack kits and with a couple of swarms kindly captured by the PDBKA team started my Apiary at the Allotments in Somersham .

Honey

Honey produced by Bee's kept at the Somersham Allotments.

BeesWax

The Bee's use Wax as the basic building material for the Hive . Through cappings obtained during Honey extraction and frame maintenance a small amount of wax is obtained .

Bee Keeping

We are always looking for new places to site Bee Hives . This can be a short need for pollination or year round .
